The 2026 Biennial Conference is being held in Union House, Adelaide University, North Terrace, Adelaide.
Adelaide University’s City Campus is perfectly positioned in the Central Business District (CBD). The North Terrace precinct is well known as Adelaide’s cultural boulevard with institutions like the SA Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, Jam Factory, Samstag Museum and MOD, a futuristic museum of discovery.
Union House is easily accessed by public transport and is included in the city’s free tram travel zone that runs between South Terrace, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Festival Plaza and Botanic Gardens tram stop.
While the venue is an accessible space, it is down some steep stairs if arriving from North Terrace. There is an alternative for those who cannot navigate this route. A map can be found in the link below for the different options for delegates:

Getting around Adelaide
Adelaide’s public transport system is run by Adelaide Metro.
Free travel is available in the city and North Adelaide:
- Free City Connector bus – links popular city attractions, shopping, dining, education and other services. There are two different routes – Route 99A and 99C loop around the CBD, available Monday to Friday. Route 98A and 98C loop around the CBD and North Adelaide, available every day.
- Free tram travel zone – runs between the South Terrace, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Festival Plaza and Botanic Gardens tram stops.
