In these challenging times we want to assure all those considering registering for the 2021 OHA Biennial Conference that we have plans should the conference be impacted by COVID restrictions and lockdowns.

Firstly, anyone who registers for the conference will have their fees refunded if COVID in some way stops their attendance. So please do not delay your registration if you would like to attend.

If at all possible, we want the conference to be a face-to-face event. The practice of oral history is all about person-to-person interaction and after the past year and a half we are really keen to enable a get-together – especially in beautiful Launceston.

Please be assured that we are monitoring the COVID situation. Our plan is to review circumstances at the close of early bird registration on 12 September with a view to making a final decision about the conference format by 1 October.

The conference will proceed in some format. It is really helpful and encouraging for us to know that we have your support so please register.
