The 2026 conference will be held in Tardanya/Adelaide, South Australia, on the lands of the Kaurna people, from 3-6 December. The conference is being presented jointly by Oral History Australia and Oral History Australia SA/NT.
Our conference theme ‘Human Voices, Modern Technology: Oral History & Authenticity’ is very timely given rapidly advancing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are therefore thrilled to welcome Doug Boyd, a world expert on technology and oral history, as our keynote speaker.
Further information about the conference is available on the conference website at: https://oralhistoryaustralia.org.au/biennial-conference-2026/.
