Concerned about the preservation of oral history collections? Oral History Australia President Professor Alistair Thomson recently joined a panel discussing a proposal for the development of an Australian Language Data Commons which could also potentially provide a home for some oral history.
The session, ‘Bringing Data to Life: Co-Designing a Language Data Commons’, was held on Yuggera and Turrbal land at Brisbane Powerhouse on 4 August 2022.
